Central Services
The Central Services team supports the schools across the Trust in all aspects of school Finances, Human Resources, ICT and premises management. This means that our SAT Headteachers do not need to worry about the business side of their organisation and can focus their efforts on delivering excellent education.
An annual charge is levied to all schools within the multi-academy trust to cover the cost of providing central services, which includes the following:

- Deputy CEOs
- Finance Director & Finance Services
- SAT premises management
- SAT HR policies and support
- SAT ICT service
- Director of Primary School Improvement
- Secondary School Improvement team
- Costs for internal and external audits
- Licences for finance systems
- Advertising in TES
- Health & Safety training and audit
- Legal services helpline
- FFT Aspire
- Minibus leasing
- Safeguarding audits
- Subscriptions to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), National Governance Association (NGA), the Confederation of School Trusts (CST) and IGS (Data Protection Officer)
The percentage charge levied for central services is reviewed annually and is closely aligned to the real cost of providing these services.
